The Quiet Girl

The Quiet Girl

Kayla is working at a restaurant near Boston. She has been taken in by Esteban, the bartender. Kayla can’t remember anything about her life before Esteban. She is The Quiet Girl. Her mind is filled with disturbing thoughts and images.

Alex is the Chief Financial Officer of his best friend’s start-up. They have had a promising result in the first trial of their new cancer drug. But the company needs a venture capitalist angel to reach the finish line and acquire FDA approval.

During this stressful process, Alex’ new wife, Mina, has disappeared without a word. She has left her engagement and wedding rings behind. She took out $400 from their ATM and vanished without a trace. Sure, Alex and Mina had a fight before her disappearance. But Alex didn’t think it was important enough to cause Mina to run off. But when her car is found abandoned nearby, the police have only two theories: suicide or Alex is her murderer.

The Quiet Girl is a pulse-pounding thriller that is impossible to put down! Could the police have got it wrong? Is the answer to Mina’s disappearance much more complex than simply suicide or murder?

I envy the readers who haven’t had the pleasure of reading this book yet! A multitude of surprises await you. I highly recommend this spine-tingling puzzle of a thriller. 5 stars and a favorite!
