Lynley is a volunteer at the Friends of Felines cat shelter. Five years ago, she found a stray kitten with unusual markings in a duffle bag with a cat toy, drugs and $10,000 cash. She placed the kitten in the shelter and gave the bag to the police. Now, while walking her cat, she finds the kitten all grown up living with her owner, Carry. In the meantime, her best friend, Frannie, is acting strangely.
If you love cats, Adventure Cat is the perfect cozy mystery for you! It even includes true cat facts at the beginning of each chapter. In addition to the cats, the small-town setting is charming. Plus, there is a thriller-like run in with a criminal element to heighten the suspense. 3 stars!
