92 Quick & Healthy Recipes for Every Day is a cookbook for beginners with recipes for only one or two people. The ingredients are easy to find and not too numerous. That makes this cookbook a great gift for young/new adults moving out of their family’s home for the first time.

The recipes are quick and healthy, if a bit simplistic for anyone familiar with cooking. How simple is making a wrap with cooked chicken and avocado? The recipes are rated as either easy or medium difficulty but they all seem okay for beginners. Each recipe has a full color photo. They also include calories but that is the only nutritional information provided. Sorry, protein junkies and any carb-obsessed chefs. Strangely, there are two duplicated recipes so only 90 are included.

Overall, 92 Quick & Healthy Recipes for Every Day is a straightforward way to learn to cook with minimal effort or expense. 4 stars!
