Nom Nom Paleo Let’s Go is jam-packed with well over a hundred recipes. All are paleo and also gluten-free! Each recipe has multiple photographs, diet/allergen notifications, and nutritional information.
The recipes within Nom Nom Paleo Let’s Go look delicious! However, many are not for beginners. Though the step-by-step photographs of the cooking process help a lot. In addition, many of ingredients are not pantry staples of a non-Chinese American home (i.e., galagal, persimmons, and makrut lime leaves).
However, there is a lot to like about the book. Using spiralized daikon radish rather than using zucchini, sweet potato or rice noodles is a brilliant idea. Bulk Italian sausage as a pizza crust? Mind-blowing! The Chicken Tikka Masala and many of the chicken sheet pan dinners look delicious, are easy to make, and are budget friendly. I made the Albondigas Soup, and it was as yummy as it looked in the pictures!
If you are paleo, gluten-free, or just looking for some healthier and inventive recipes, don’t miss Nom Nom Paleo Let’s Go. 4.5 stars!
