14 minutes a day for 7 days is the total time commitment required within 7 Minute Fitness Strength Training for Seniors and Over 60+. Of course, the hope is that you will continue the 7-minute twice daily strength and meditative workouts forever.
This book has clear instructions for each exercise including an illustration. There are many exercises for all areas of the body presented. However, many of the exercises would be difficult for seniors new to exercising to do. Balancing on one leg and getting up and down from the floor may be problematic. Therefore, I think the exercises would be better suited to beginner exercisers in middle age or younger. The explanations at the beginning of the book on why older adults should exercise are targeted at seniors so the book seems conflicted as to its audience.
Because of the possible frustration of seniors getting motivated to exercise and then being unable to do many of the included exercises, I have to rate 7 Minute Fitness Strength Training for Seniors and Over 60+ only 2 stars. It misses the mark for me.
