Frank is a taciturn home inspector who also expels ghosts. Grace is a reality show producer looking for a new innovative show. They sound like a perfect match when Grace’s BFF Ness brings them together. But both are suspicious of each other. Can they work together to solve some ghost stories? Will Grace’s AI enamored boss somehow ruin Grace’s original story idea? Find out in House Haunters.
While there are several ghosts within the book, the real puzzle is Grace and Frank’s relationship. While marketed as a thriller with ghosts, House Haunters reads more like a paranormal cozy mystery. Will I remember the plot a week from now? Probably not. But it was an entertaining ride while I was reading it. It made me forget my own struggles for a couple of days and sometimes that is enough. 4 stars!
