Edison Bixby has been shot in the face. Now he can’t keep any unkind thoughts in his head but instead spews them out. His insurance investigator boss hires down-on-his-luck actor, Wally Nash, to smooth over any awkward moments. For Edison is rude but a fantastic investigator. His cases are solved by pure logic in the humorous mystery, Murder by Design.
I haven’t laughed so much since first reading the Stephanie Plum mysteries. I also haven’t been intrigued so much by challenging puzzles since reading Agatha Christie. The combination makes this new mystery series total catnip to me.
Don’t miss Murder by Design. It succeeds on multiple levels. I can’t praise it enough. 5 stars and a new favorite series!
