Marriage Can Be Mischief

Marriage Can Be Mischief

Amish matchmaker Millie and her best friend non-Amish Lois are investigating a forty-year-old cold case in Marriage Can Be Mischief.

When buggy maker Samuel Zook is found murdered in his buggy, the obvious suspect is his abused wife Gali. But when Gali’s skeleton is found nearby forty years later, Millie and Lois decide to reopen and solve the mystery.

I love both of the Amish series by this author. The characters are so realistic that they feel like old friends. The mystery could have used a few more obvious clues of the murderer’s identity. However, overall, Marriage Can Be Mischief is a compelling read. 4 stars!
