Text in Show

Text in Show is a modern retelling of Cinderella set at a socialite dog show. What makes this show different? Mother-dog matching clothing, doggy evening gown and swimsuit competitions are just part of the craziness!

Autumn has a hyper-critical mother. Sure, it took her ten years to get her college degrees. So what? Finally, she has found her calling, sociology. She moves in with her sister, Helen, in NYC to get her Ph.D. from Columbia. Little does Autumn know that she is moving from the frying pan to the fire. Because her sister is snobby and calling herself Helena now. Helena makes Autumn live in the pantry of her huge house. But soon Autumn’s life will change for the better when she meets a handsome veterinarian, who may just be her Prince Charming.

Text in Show is a sweet and humorous romance. It reminds me of every Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey rom-com I’ve ever seen. And that’s a good thing! It’s just a cute way to pass a few hours. It would also be the perfect beach read. 4 stars!
