Dave, John and Amy are authentic ghostbusters with The Conjuring worldview. They are trying, and failing, to control an inhuman toy hungry for human body parts. Oh, did I forget to mention that the book is a zany comedy? It’s a merging of a good Saturday Night Live skit and an Annabelle plot with a Tim Dorsey full-on-crazy writing style. If any of those are favorites of yours, don’t miss this laugh-out-loud—but ponder late-at-night—book. 5 stars for If This Book Exists, You’re in the Wrong Universe! And I’m happy that I’m in the wrong universe.
