Ursula is a thief. Alice is a victim. Gareth is a loser. Strangers is all three of their stories and how they will eventually become entangled.
The beginning of Strangers was rather slow as we see each of the three characters’ lives from their own point-of-view. It takes about half the book to get to the exciting intertwining conclusion including a murder.
I took off one star because I think all parts of a thriller should be fast-paced. However, that may just be me and your experience may be different. I would still recommend it because of the slam-bam conclusion. 4 stars!
