GLP-1 Meals Made Easy

GLP-1 Meals Made Easy

When you begin a GLP-1 journey, the only advice you get is to eat more protein and fiber rather than fatty and spicy foods. Oh, and drink a lot of water. With clinics pushing compounded drugs, there is no instruction at all about diet. For someone, like me, used to diets being all about what foods to eat and restrict, it left me strangely unmoored. When looking for some instruction, I found GLP-1 Meals Made Easy.

The recipes within GLP-1 Meals Made Easy sound tasty and are easy to make. However, they are the same recipes dieters have been using for decades to try and lose a few pounds. What makes them special? Nothing. Now, that I have been on compounded GLP-1 drugs for a while, I realize that there really are no rules about what you can or cannot eat. You just won’t want to eat, or at least not eat as much. You can even eat fatty or spicy foods, if they don’t upset your stomach. Really, there are no rules and that is the point that makes these medications work for a lifetime—not just until you drop a few pounds. Since I don’t really see the point of this book, it only receives 2 stars from me.
