Bubble, Bubble, Tea and Trouble

Bubble, Bubble, Tea and Trouble

Bubble, Bubble, Tea and Trouble is the seventh book in the popular Tea by the Sea cozy mystery series. This time tearoom owner Lily and her trusty writer/hacker friend Bernie have to contend not just with murderers but also ghostly presences. A medium and her believers are visiting Lily’s grandmother’s Cape Cod B&B. What begins as a call to ghosts ends with a deadly accident. Or was it murder?

I just love these characters. They feel like friends at this point. However, this book also works well as a standalone read. The mystery is easy to solve even if the motive is a bit obscure. Overall, come for the well drawn characters—not to challenge your armchair detective wits. But on a warm summer afternoon, Bubble, Bubble, Tea and Trouble is a relaxing cozy read. 4 stars!
