Weightless

Weightless

I cannot recommend Weightless highly enough. Of all the GLP-1 books I have read recently, this is the best.

If you are thinking about starting a GLP-1 like Ozempic, Mounjaro or their compounded equivalent, you need to read Weightless first. It reads as if your best friend just happens to be a weight loss doctor. She answers all your questions clearly and honestly. She even answers some questions that you haven’t even thought of yet.

Most doctors, and certainly most compounding clinic staff, do not really explain what happens when you take these drugs. You are kind of left on your own to figure it out through trial and error or the AI slop filled internet, which is pretty frightening really. This book includes chapters relating to each step of your GLP-1 journey from side effects to tapering off after your weight loss goal is reached. It is comforting to know that you are not floundering about out there on your own. You have an expert by your side.

With the new price reductions in the cost of this drugs on the horizon, now is the perfect time to get familiar with how these drugs can help in your weight loss journey. You still have to do the work of reducing your food intake, boosting your protein, and using strength training to reduce muscle loss. However, now you can do it with no more food cravings and a smaller appetite. Taking Weightless along will make you a much more knowledgeable consumer of these drugs benefits and costs. 5 stars and a favorite.
