Vampire State Building

Vampire State Building

“They’ve turned the Empire State Building into a—no…it can’t be…a giant pantry? And we’re the meals.” —from the epic graphic novel, Vampire State Building.

During a remodeling, a mysterious hidden room with a locked iron door is found behind the walls of the Empire State Building. After opening the room, a large group calling themselves The Hamatsa escape and begin a murderous rampage. Meanwhile, the NYPD use force against the group assuming they are standard terrorists. They are dead wrong!

I’m not too sure about the political correctness of a vengeful Native American god hungry for blood. However, if you can get past that, the plot is original and very good. The artwork, especially the coloring, is great too. The god himself is simply awesome.

If you are a horror fan, you shouldn’t miss Vampire State Building. 4 stars!
