In addition to the weather, which is like a character within the book, three childhood friends including Geneva’s mother tell their stories. Lo, who was accused and acquitted of her married lover’s murder decades ago, comes to the Rosalie Inn with an author to write her version of that event. Flashbacks tell the tales of both Lo and the other two friends back when another hurricane was brewing decades ago. What happened then and now in the present are twisty tales sure to enthrall both mystery and thriller readers. The Storm is highly recommended. 5 stars!
