The Second Wife

The Second Wife

A fire breaks out in a home. Natalie, The Second Wife, escapes without injury. But her fourteen-year-old stepdaughter, Jade, has to be rescued by firemen. After awakening from a brief coma, Jade tells her father, Alex, she was hiding in her closet. But she wasn’t fleeing the fire. She says a stranger was also in the house that night. A strange man.

At first, Alex thinks Natalie didn’t do enough to save his (not their) daughter. After hearing Jade’s story, he begins to believe his new wife Natalie may have been cheating on him. Natalie insists Jade is just imagining things because of her coma. And so begins the unbelievably twisty story of several people across two time periods, where everyone has secrets they would kill to keep hidden.

Lucky you! You get to read this excellent rollercoaster of a domestic suspense novel where no one is who they seem. 4 stars!
