Poor mystery but interesting slice of French life.
I enjoyed entering the world of a wine expert within France. However, I think there are rules for mysteries that Montmartre Mysteries broke. There was no way for the reader to solve the mystery as crucial information was not given until the last pages. There were some suspects shown in the book but by the end all were ruled out. Overall, as a mystery it was extremely disappointing. As a slice of French life, it was interesting so I’m giving it 2 stars.
I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway but that has not impacted my review.
