Wedding Bell Blues

Wedding Bell Blues

Jill is the owner of Coffee, Books, and More in the small coastal California tourist town, South Cove. She is the new fiancée of the town’s police chief, Greg. Jill also has a habit of finding dead bodies. In Wedding Bell Blues, Jill finds the new owner of Exquisite Gowns for You, Harper, stabbed in her new dressing room. Or is it? Harper appears very much alive. Jill wants to solve the crime, but the number one suspect is her fiancé‘s ex-wife, Sherry, a co-owner of a rival dress shop. Talk about a conflict of interest.

Despite the limited number of suspects, the mystery was an enjoyable challenge to solve. I did get a bit sick of Jill being so hesitant about getting married. It was repetitive. But there was a nice twist at the end. 3.5 stars!

Thanks to Kensington Books and NetGalley for a copy in exchange for my honest review.
