Twice Kissed

Twice Kissed

This is not my typical review but an attempt to justify why I wasted 4 hours reading this drivel—again. I got excited when I saw Twice Kissed on NetGalley. A new Lisa Jackson book! I quickly downloaded it. Then I realized that I had read this book when it was originally published in 1998.

I don’t remember my feelings about it then. But while rereading it, I didn’t like it much at all. It may be because I’m an only child, who is the mother of an only child, so I don’t understand the sisterly bond.

However, if my twin sister stole my boyfriend, married him, and then turned up missing, I would have said it’s karma. I wouldn’t have looked for her. Certainly not with my former soulmate. I would have realized that he also betrayed me with my twin. So I wouldn’t have found myself falling for him all over again. Stupid girl! Ugh!

There are much better books out there by Lisa Jackson. She publishes almost as many books as James Patterson in a year. Read those and not Twice Kissed. 2 stars.

Thanks to Kensington Books and NetGalley for a copy in exchange for my honest review.
