Wow! I was convinced that I knew what the twists would be and WHOMP! the plot moves in a completely unexpected direction. Kudos to the authors for writing a genuinely surprising denouement! I highly recommend The Golden Couple to those jaded by the familiar domestic suspense plots and armchair detectives looking for a challenge. All the clues are there but will you see them? 5 stars and a favorite!
