Jules is the owner of a rabbit rescue with a craft center attached. Her pet rabbit, Bun, can communicate with Jules telepathically. And they both love a good mystery to solve. They find one at the Hop ‘Till You Drop Easter Egg Hunt. It seems the boss lady has been killed. The killer was seen leaving dressed as an Easter Bunny. Who better than Bun to solve the crime?
I have read this series from the beginning. Bun is my favorite animal in all of the cozy mysteries that I’ve read. I have to admit I have read about many telepathic animals but never a rabbit. And Bun has personality and spunk bubbling out of him. However, the mystery was once again not challenging enough for me. The book is fine if that is not what you read cozy mysteries for. If you like cozy characters, Hop ‘Til You Drop might be a perfect weekend read. But for me, 3 stars.
