Darling Rose Gold

Darling Rose Gold

Patty is released from prison after five long years. And her estranged daughter, her Darling Rose Gold, picks Patty up.

It’s the least she can do. After all, it’s Rose Gold’s fault that Patty went to prison. She didn’t have to testify. Patty was just trying to be a good mother. But she was found guilty of starving her daughter, even poisoning her, for eighteen long years.

Now, it is time for a new start for both of them. And surprise! Rose Gold has a two-month-old son named Adam. He reminds Patty so much of Rose Gold when she was young. That new baby smell! Patty will have to take very good care of Adam since his father is long gone. Good thing all three are living in Rose Gold’s rural house, right?

It’s a race to finish this enthralling book. Is Patty up to her old tricks? Or is there something else at play here? Overall, Darling Rose Gold is a great and compelling thriller about Munchausen by Proxy and the devastation it can wrought. 4 stars!
