Murder Spills the Tea

Murder Spills the Tea

Lily is the owner of a tea shop on the grounds of her grandmother Rose’s elegant Cape Cod B&B. In Murder Spills the Tea, Rose and Lily’s bestie, Bernie, enter Lily’s tea shop in a reality TV show competition. While not happy at losing four days of paying customers, Lily is hopefully that the publicity will help attract new customers to both her shop and Rose’s B&B.

The first day of shooting goes well. However, an incident, perhaps staged, on the second day results in spilled tea, yelling, and a server mama accusing a judge of bullying her server daughter. The next morning the judge is found bludgeoned to death by Lily’s marble rolling pin. The local detectives immediately suspect the server mama so Lily, Bernie and Rose must step in once again to find the real killer.

I find this series so relaxing, like a cozy cup of tea on a blustery autumn day. The characters are so genuine. The mystery is fun to unravel. Murder Spills the Tea is the perfect way to spend an afternoon. 5 stars!
