Game On

Game On

Stephanie Plum and her crazy life are back with Game On, the twenty-eighth book in the series.

Stephanie is a bail bond enforcement agent with a lot of helpful, and not so helpful, friends and family. Her sidekick is Lula, a former working girl who likes to eat and show off her assets in equal amounts. Stephanie also has a hilarious family, who help Stephanie with food, laundry, and various other favors. Diesel has reentered Stephanie’s life as they work together along with Stephanie’s long time police boyfriend, Morelli, on catching a cagey hacker.

I love that in this book it appears that Stephanie has chosen Morelli in their epic love triangle with Ranger. In fact, the cat-and-mouse chase for the hacker as well as a few side cases take center stage—rather than romance.

I cannot overemphasize how laugh-out-loud funny Game On is. I always use Stephanie Plum books as the yardstick for mysteries that are trying to be zany. And those other books always fall short. There is just no better series to get a bunch of hearty belly laughs. 5 stars!

Thanks to Atria Books and NetGalley for a copy in exchange for my honest review.
