Candy Cane Crime

Candy Cane Crime

I love the Amish Candy Shop Mystery series and Candy Cane Crime is no exception. Bailey is in NYC working on her cable show. So Charlotte is the narrator of this cute love story.

When Charlotte volunteers to collect and decorate Christmas notes with candy canes, she never expects to find her own secret admirer. Or could the odious Abel Esh just be pranking her?

Charlotte’s reluctance to leave her rumspringa behind and join the Amish has been an ongoing underlying theme in this series. Eight years is a long time to wait. But Charlotte is still hesitant. To distract herself, Charlotte volunteers to help with the town candy cane exchange fundraiser. She is convinced that she will have time even though Christmas is always busy at Swissmen Sweets.

Even though there is no murders in this book, there are plenty of mysteries to be solved. I’m so involved with the characters, after reading the entire series as they came out, I couldn’t wait to read this novella. Nothing can get you in a Christmas mood as well as another visit to Harvest, Ohio. If you love Christmas cozy mysteries, check out Candy Cane Crime. 4 stars!

Thanks to Kensington Books and NetGalley for a copy in exchange for my honest review.
